[Well. It's been a while. San missed all the hubbub and craziness going on in the village. ...She was a little busy, when viewed a certain way.

At the moment it's hard to view her at all, though. She's in the village, but keeping to the shadows, and may very well be crouched beside your house right now. If you do notice her, she's in the sundress,

[It was hot, perhaps too hot for some. Of course, Presea didn't feel at all bothered, as she was coming out of the item shop. She'd made a few figurines and charms and was dropping them off, since she had no use for the things. Presea hears the girl shuffling about, but doesn't see her, so her guard is up.

Because she doesn't have her axe - she was just dropping off some thing and going right back home to clean the house - she looks around cautiously for the source of the noise.]

[The heat isn't helping San any, but being looked for is doing awful things to her. She tries to shrink back further, which should cause another rattle of metal and a gasp that becomes a cough. It's all a cycle, really. Presea has absolutely no reason to feel threatened.]

[Each sound is heard, and Presea shakes her head a little, It was almost painful to hear that clanking sound with her heightened sense of hearing. Armor, maybe? The cough is enough to really grab her attention, and though she doesn't relax too much, her hand isn't headed for the small knife she carries in place of her axe anymore.]

[She can't answer you and doesn't trust you. So no clues.]

[Derek is out in the back yard of house 55, putting the garden there back into decent shape. He hears the clink of metal before he catches the scent, and will pause and look in the direction of the noise.

He'll nod carefully at her.]

[Her response is very wide eyes and several slow, tense backward steps. You're someone she's never even met before, to give her some buried idea of trust in you.]

[Derek will shake his head and hold his hands up slowly.]

It's all right. [He keeps his voice low, like he's speaking to a skittish animal, and stays crouched where he is.]

Won't do a thing to you. But you're coughing. Here...

[He'll very carefully pull out his canteen and take a careful drink from it before settling it to the ground and backing away to the other side of the garden, away from her. He'll settle again, sitting completely and crossing his legs--a position that would be difficult to rise quickly from, and would give her plenty of time to react if he did.

He watches her, concerned. She might not know him, but he's seen her with Moro before. And her scent is often on the great wolf when they meet.]

[Speaking to a skittish animal, hm?

But he's watching her. Is it another test? San shivers, and stays put. No, we are not touching that water.]

[Sokka is still doing work on the roof when he loses his hammer and it goes sliding off the roof. Ultimately it falls RIGHT ON SAN'S HEAD right beside her. He'll be coming along in a moment to go fetch it.]

[Well then. He will find her backed up against the wall in utter terror that someone has decided to attack her with a thing as heavy as that hammer. She's looking at it like it will jump up and get her.]

[He remains oblivious to her presence and a moment later, Sokka jumps off the roof, landing in a crouching position. After not finding the hammer at his feet, he turns around to fetch it.]

[She can't scream, so she didn't. And with the wall at her back she can't really go anywhere - the hammer was there, after all, and now a something else came down from the roof.

She doesn't know what the thing is because she has her arms crossed in front of her face to protect herself. Sokka won't be able to see her face, but the heavy iron shackles and all the cuts on her arms should be distracting enough]

[ Cooro's actually been spending a lot of time in the forest, but today, he's wandered back to the village to see the goings on. Things seemed crazy for a while, there. He's been starting to make his home more out in the trees, and moreso, near Moro's dwellings, anyway. With no Martel, it's hard to feel at home in the village, right now.

He doesn't really notice San, though he feels a familiar presence as he walks by. He looks around a little. ]

[That one is looking for her. He can hear her. San tries to shrink away further, but it's pretty impossible for her to do that without making any noise.]

[ He looks over towards the sounds and hops his way over. The little crow perks up when he notices who it is. ]

[Admittedly, Cooro isn't as inherently scary as any of the other people she's seen so far. But she still doesn't want anyone near her, and she'll keep backing away, holding her hands up to defend herself.]

[Well, Ginko's heading back to the forest after being in town for such a long time. Things are quiet enough outside, aaand strange enough in his head to balance that ratio into something uncomfortable.

But... the sight of San-- or what he thinks is the sight of her-- would be more than enough to halt him. Because the last time he saw her, she wasn't in good shape.]

[Ginko would need to notice her nearby, or hear her - she can't mask the noises - because there's no way she's letting anyone see her if she can help it.]

[he does, though it takes him a moment-- and he stops in his tracks. She's at a little distance from him, and he wonders how close she'll let him get. Is she... back to normal again?

[She hasn't spotted him yet. It's taking all of her effort to stay in the shadows, with her back against a wall and hands limp on her knees. To stay kneeling, instead of just falling over]
