[Snow. It's been snowing for days. This weather is impeding hunting in all kinds of ways, covering tracks and other useful things while making San very much visible to any of her prey before she reaches it.

Also she is no longer a wolf. Hunting with the physical body of a wolf was so much easier.

So this evening she returns from another failed hunt ( Read more... )

[Vash are you drunk?

...San is unconscious and bleeding. You're the freaking out type, aren't you? Oh spirits.]

[Only a little drunk! Which is good! He doesn't tend to freak out as much when drunk! Although when you don't get up right away or answer him after he calls out the first time he wanders closer to get a better look.]

Lady?

[Aw, look at that, it's the daughter of the giant wolf that wants to eat him.]

[OH CRAP IT'S THE DAUGHTER OF THAT CRAZY GIANT WOLF THAT WANTS TO EAT HIM AND SHE'S BLEEDING! By the way - that freaks out less when drunk MIGHT have been a lie.]

OH SHIT! [Why her?! Why her of all people!?]

[Alright, Vash. Calm down. She's bleeding.

After taking a quick glance around to make sure Moro wasn't about to pop out of no where and get the wrong idea he'll kneel down near your head. With arms outstretch he'll begin to use Nala's healing magic to stop the bleeding.]

[Nope, no Moro of imminent death in sight. Just the wolf girl there.

Way to lie about freaking out, by the way. Smooth.

The magic works, of course; no reason for it not to. So the bleeding is slowing down]

[It takes Vash awhile. He's still fairly new with this magic and hasn't had much to practice on. It's a good thing Moro isn't nearby as Vash is very intently focused on San's head. He plans to keep at it until the bleeding completely stops.]

[it eventually will. There will still be a gash there, but no more bleeding from it.]

Ah, there. [But he can't just leave you sleeping on the ice.] Hey la- uh, ma'am. Wake up. Hellooooooooooooo. [Maybe some gentle shaking will wake you up.]

[sure enough, she groans - it drops into a growl momentarily but then goes back to a groan again - and opens dazed eyes halfway]

[EEP! Growling! Vash lets out a very unmanly yelp and tries to quickly back away while making some rather nervous (and also unmanly) sounds. Only... yeah, ice. He ends up head over heels and lands on his back with a hard thump.]

Ow. That hurt.

[Vash. Seriously. You were trying to wake her up and then she woke up and it surprised you?

What are you doing over there, strange red man. San sits up, far too quickly, and pretty much goes right back down again. This is one killer headache.]

[It wasn't the waking up! It was the growling and not wanting to possibly get stabbed! ...or bit.

Vash manages to get himself up into a sitting position.] Careful! It's slippery!

[Slippery...hahahaaaaa. She's curled into a ball and trying to hold the back of her head as if that will stop it from pounding]
