[ John's never satisfied with just sitting around and doing nothing, so he's walking around the village today, cane included -- his leg is still giving him more trouble than usual. ]

[San will end up following him at some point. And getting irritated by his slowness. He may hear a soft growl behind him]

[ John does and he clutches the cane in his hand that little bit tighter, but doesn't turn around. not quite yet. ]

[Mike is getting tired of running out of flour, but all the stress in his life right now is turning his house into an extension of the bakery. So not only is he carrying a shopping list, but also a sack full of cookies and muffins to pass out to anyone he sees. Because even as much of a black hole the Hamato brothers and father can be, they're not actual bottomless pits.

He sees that pile of wood and munches a chocolate chip cookie thoughtfully as he considers it. When San comes back for another armload he nods to her.]

[Snufkin is taking a walk in the woods, familiarizing himself with its paths and features. When he sees what San is up to, he pauses to watch awhile, without saying anything-- trying to puzzle out what it is she's up to.

He doesn't want to startle her.... she looks rather fierce.]

[What she is up to is moving some of the smaller pieces of wood to the new feather stations. ...Mostly the one in the forest. So no one gets any ideas if they want a fire.]

[He thinks he gets the idea, but the image of the girl and what's she's doing fit rather oddly together-- and prompt him to ask-] Did you pile all that firewood?

[Sokka was going to grab some more before it was all gone, but...]

Uh... aren't you doing the opposite of what Moro was doing?

Bring some with you. [you have been conscripted.]

[He frowns. Okay, she probably has a good reason for it, but he's failing to see what. He picks up a small bundle. No sense putting himself out too much if he doesn't know why.]
