Good news:
I will be working at an apple orchard this fall, just a half hour from my hometown! Ah, the rolling bluffs of the driftless area, the oaks and streams and walnut!

And the crane! The tree!
Such beauty unfolds itself to the willing, open heart!
Last night I had a picnic in a park by the river in town
with a beautiful genius woman I've come to befriend-
a gypsy tea party (yes, we very much dressed the part!).
As we supped upon aged goat cheese & fig cake,
the most sensual bull frogs raised a booming melody!
We both laughed, tasting the ripeness of summer in the still air.
The Milky Way showed itself to us, winking despite the light pollution.
Life is beautiful,
absolutly.
