[She's so awash in misery she can barely hear him, but the voice somehow gets through to her and she turns her head sightlessly. She can't smell him there; the hallucination's blocking her senses.]

[He catches his name while on the phone trying to figure out what the fuck is going on and why so many people seem to be losing their shit today, instantly perking up when he recognizes the voice.]

She doomed a version of Dave, forcing him to go ahead in the timeline, forcing him to fix things, and she doomed him to a life of being the other Dave. Terezi's never forgotten that, and it's part of why she's tried so hard to be his friend in Mayfield.]

[The hairs raise on the of her neck when that voice settles over her through the fog of her misery. She doesn't need to raise her face to smell him- his scent is sharp and unmistakable.

The hallucinogen is strong enough, fortunately, that she forgets the secret she's harboring from him, giving her no additional reason to panic now.
