[ Ilsa finds her in the park by following the glow of OMG HAPPY, and arrives just in time to hear the plan to climb a tree. ]

How long has it been since you went climbing?

[ No, she's not pinging that Aurora is a ghost, just that she hasn't been human recently. ]

Pastries? That sounds great. Sure, then!

[ Ilsa leads Aurora to the cafe side of the bakery, and springs for snacks. ]

Now, take it slow, you might need to get used to food.

[ While she eats, Ilsa fills her in on the vagaries of Mayfield, expanding on the pamphlet, and marking the current healing spots on the map. ]

[She will thank Ilsa for the food, take a tentative taste, and her face lights up. Love at first bite.

I'm a psychiatrist, but because I'm female the town does not acknowledge that. It's not even historically accurate, but [ she shrugs ] I keep a trauma kit at the house, in case you can't make it to the church or the hospital.
