Holy crap, I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted.  I really thought I was turning over a new lef here.  :(

I've got a half hour left before I can leave the office so I figured I'd jump on with a quick update.  These posts are so boring without pictures, but i don't have the time or energy to go find them and add here.

OMG that job situation sounds awful. I'm so sorry. I had a boss once who prided herself on being "tough" and making people cry. I couldn't deal. Luckily I was planning to go back to school so I didn't feel compelled to stay. I took an interim job to tide things over and was never so happy as when I left that crazy bitch.

I hope you can find something new!

Can you break away for lunch from this hell hole? I'd love to see you sometime.

You may think it’s boring, but it’s actually so good to catch up with you! My kids also love the “mommy tour” when we go back east too. Sounds like an amazing trip, and now that your kids know how amazing it is, maybe you can make it annual or biannual trip.

I have to admit, I’m really curious about the kids’ cousin. I remember the backstory on that and can’t help but wonder about how that family worked out.

Your work situation really sounds like it sucks. Does Zak have any idea how bad he is at delegating? Maybe he’s better off being a solo act. Any chance that Dustin could manage two?

So glad you all had such a great time in NY! Sounds like you were able to pack a lot in also. Amazing how much more we can do now that they’re old enough to keep up with a packed schedule. (And appreciate it things like seeing ground zero).

That work environment sounds horrendous Stacy. I am so sorry you’re dealing with that I will never understand why some people act like that, nor why management allows such a toxic culture/environment. Are you looking elsewhere or thinking it might improve? It’s unfortunate you aren’t under Dustin. Is there anyone you can appeal to for that?

Ugh, I’m so sorry about your work situation - that sounds terrible and stressful.

The trip sounds fantastic though - yay! Someday i have to go see what these east coast beaches are all about. :-)

I’m interested to hear how the cousin’s family is doing. I used to read the blog sometimes - does she still have one?

Hi Stace--I'm so glad you guys had a great time in NYC! Sounds like you ran the kids all around to your favorite spots...so fun to revisit your "old life" after all these year huh? I miss NYC SO much. Still feels like home when I'm there-I'm sure that is the same for you to a certain degree too huh?

Sorry your job situation is sucky. UGH. It seems like you were really liking it when you first started. Very uncomfortable to be walking on eggshells all day. I really hope things improve soon. Hang in there!
