I don't think I took any practice tests, I just studied my class material. It helped that I had just taken orgo and physics the semester before. But yeah, it was a long, grueling day :P
It took me about an hour or so, but I was being pretty cautious. Of course, that'll only work if it's a laser problem. It's very possible that the impact knocked the laser tray out of whack, so that could fix it. But if it's something else, only Sony can help. If they feel like it.
Ooh, that looks informative. I think once I'm done with the test, I'll try that guide to fix my PS2. It's making a clicky noise when it loads, so something definitely got knocked out of alignment. Thanks muchly for the link and the luck. :-*
