ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Matthew Fox is so deserving of this! I'm excited for Terry and Micheal too, but they've already been nominated and WON, so I'm not as psyched for them as I am for Matthew! Liz getting the guest actress nom for "The End" was great as well!

Lost being nominated for Best Series, Writing, Direction and Sound Editing is great!

What Carlton really means is this: "Foxy got stuck carrying the burden of a real lead on a show where there were a lot of extraneous characters who didn't really mean shit to the actual plot -- characthers like Sawyer for example -- but in the end, he was so astoundingly awesome that even the cabal of morons that are the Emmy Nominating Committee were forced to take notice. He was really the only reason did Lost not totally spin off into total jump-the-sharkdom at so many junctures after Season 3, that every single one of us involved in the production owe him all kinds of sexual favors for saving our jobs and allowing us to keep our incredibly cushy and extravagantly high paying jobs for as long as we have. I was waiting for the actual, true translation! Thank you for not being a moment too soon! Matthew Fox IS Lost, and yeah, that's a cocky thing to say, but the shit don't work without the motor that gets it goin'.

I'm always proud of him and his acting chops, Emmy Nom or not, but this is truly six years in the making.

Matthew Fox: After six seasons on Lost (not to mention six on Party of Five), the artist formerly known as the savior of Funhouse Island received his first Emmy nomination. Even before his tear-jerking death in the series finale, Fox's understated performance was the glue of the ensemble.

Everyone is calling this nomination WAY OVERDUE, and they're right. I love that he received at least one for his back-breaking work on this "ensemble" show. Somebody would have had to stop me from calling 911 on every Emmy Voting Committee member if Matthew's name wasn't called this morning. I'm serious. :P

Me too! I can't wait to see him on Emmy Night. He is so deserving of this! I'm excited for Terry, Micheal and the show too, but they've already been nominated and WON, so I think that the icing on the LOST cake would be to give props to the lead of this monstrosity.
