Well I finally got my hair done, after at least 14 years of hating it.  I didn't even realise how much my hair actually depressed me until they made it pretty and I cried o.O  lol.  So its now chemicaly straightened and I can't get it wet or tie it back for 48 hours.  Of course I'm panicing that this will somehow happen.

I can't exactly remember when I came upon the idea of wearing a hat while I write.  Probably in one of the various writing books I have read over the years.   Regardless of where I got the idea, I find it works rather well.  I like my hat very much and it does help me to focus.  My Inner Editor thinks the hat is stupid and stalks off in disgust, ( Read more... )

Alright well... I did finish the chapter after all, but it didn't need that much work so I'm not actually that proud of myself.  lol.  Mostly today we tidied and our living room and kitchen now look very nice indeed.
