Oncoming Storms - Prompt 141.4 - List

Occasions when it wasn't aliens

The list, of which Donna has tried to compile--perhaps out of curiosity or even slight boredom while the Doctor makes yet another repair--is riddled with cross outs and scribbles, some mere lines, and others scratched out quite fiercely, so much so that the paper has been permanently dented. In one spot, she even managed to go clear through the paper.

Here and there are the occasional lines she left visible like, "--that man, Halpen, who was turned into an..." (Though it bears mentioning that she never finished that sentence, reminded of how disgusting it was to watch that transformation.) and "--but ohhh, there was that awful pond scum of a man, General Colm? Colombo? ...No, it's...Cobb! Him. Oh Jenny... He's still upset, even though it's been a while since Messaline..."

For the most part though, her list only contains half-finished sentences as most of the people she's met were just being used by some alien species or willingly helping them, and whether she left them visible on accident or not remains to be seen.

Looking at the actual piece of paper, it's a safe bet that the more she tried to think about it, the more aggravated she became until she finally crumples the piece of paper up into a tiny ball and tosses it into the bin, her time well and sufficiently wasted enough that she has an excuse to go out and find out how much longer the Doctor will be.

Though if one were to open up her crumpled list? In the only blank spot left unmarked at the very bottom of the page is this written in large block letters:

"IT'S ALWAYS BLOODY ALIENS!"
