Ugh........I hate to break it to you, but odds are it will. There are lots of factors that will decide if it does though. Your insurance company...theirs....the extent of the damage to your car (and theirs, minimal as it may be), etc. My advice -
PLEAD for traffic school to wipe it off your record. You're a new driver and you're young, so that's the way to go if you want to take the "point(s)" off your record and avoid insurance rate increases.
aww sorry tiff, but it happens to the best drivers too. i haven't been in an accident but i've been in millions of almost-accidents where it woulda been my fault too. i guess i've just been lucky, but surely i'll knock on wood because i'm a bad driver and i know it. i hope everything gets resolved. be careful :) -Suz
