I had a customer very similar to that today. I was working PBC and this couple comes up with all these lights that they pulled out of a contractors pack. And lumber & concrte block that I rang up according to the color codes in the online UPC book. And they bitch about everything saying it was cheaper. So I called the deptments and they concured with what it was ringing up. So they left they're whole two carts there and left the building. When I had a line of like 5 people. So I concur with the bloody hell to Home Depot.

Oh I know it's like if you bitch just enough you can get anything for free. It's the worst when your following policy (especially) at Returns and you tell the customer no. So then they want to speak to a manager and you call one up and they say go ahead and don't even back you up. It sucks though cause I guess a few weeks ago a guy returned a $600 Dewalt combo kit that he had bought like 4 days ago, and ended up old tools back in it. The cashier was new but she new enough to call a manager, and the manager wouldn't even come up and look at it. Just asked if they had a receipt, and confirmed that they did and it was within 90 days, so they said okay. So the cashier returned it. And of course we didn't get credit for it so it was a loss. But yeah it frustrates me to know end how far they go to save customers, like it really matters we're like the 2nd highest retailer in the country, next to Wal*Mart I think.

Yeah, I wanted to see Covenant too, but same thing, I'm going in at freakin' 6. This is why I miss so many concerts, it sucks. And yeah, parents who don't keep an eye on their kids should just expect to not see them again. Hey, that Adam Walsh kid's mom turned her head for a minute and he was whisked away... and they sued Sears for it. I love John Walsh for what he does, but when I found out about that, I was pissed.
