Some people strive to be valued. They search in every possible direction yet they can never find enough to make them happy. Some just want to be valued by someone. The tragedy that is life is that in the end, they were valued by that very being the entire time.

Like hiding behind blinds, the truth is always obscured.

C.C...

You've always got a lot on your mind, don't you?

*soft chuckle*

Of course I do.
I have a lot of memories and a lot of time to think over them.

I wish I could say the same. *soft sigh*

To answer your question though, I think... I think people seek to be valued by others because it gives them a meaning, gives them purpose. *slight pout* Without others, people just let their own thoughts and their own hate consume them until they just can't stand people.

No, you think often Asch. You are young, but you are already very mature. Do not let that temper of yours hinder you from accomplishing what you seek.

..Gives them purpose.
You speak from personal experience.

C.C.-san...?

...Well, I think a person would like to know that someone is at least thinking about them. Otherwise you'd feel rather lonely, and that's not a pleasant feeling.

What is it?

...Loneliness, unless it becomes something constant, then perhaps it in itself can make you unlonely..

B-But that's too sad! I don't think anyone could be truly happy if they live like that!

But C.C.-san...why are you thinking such things? Has something happened?

Not everyone is the same. Not everyone here is human, Tamaki. *chuckles*

Ah, no. Nothing--*lying* Nothing.

....well, I don't think there's really any one answer to that. I know what I'm looking for, but I can't really speak for anyone else, you know? It's not that simple.

Mm, I see truth in those words as well.
What are you searching for?

At the moment, answers.

And a way to fix things. I think my friend's a bit mad about the card I had him try, and I'll need to settle things before he tries to get even.

Pretty risky giving him a card. *chuckles*
I wish you luck in that endeavor.

Is he of value to you?

Not everyone deserves to be valued.

forever_witch November 23 2008, 22:22:27 UTC
Ah, is that so?
And why do you think this?

I don't think everyone has worth. I'm not saying this applies to most; I'm only talking about a very few amount of people.

True, some here have lost the rights to being valuable because of their percieved values of others.
This is very interesting, I'll think on this.

Pretty deep question ya got there...C.C. was it?

This is Raven, in Rita's body, eh-heh.

forever_witch November 24 2008, 01:38:12 UTC
Yes, I am C.C.

Raven, hm? Well aren't you precious.
I miss the beard though. :/

What do you think?

fashionistarita November 24 2008, 01:41:11 UTC
Been a while since I last saw ya, heh.

And it's more of a stubble than a beard...

Anyway, in answer to your question...I really don't have an answer ta that one. I think people feel some sort reassurance if they know there's someone else thinking about them or out there waitin' for 'em. Otherwise, the thought of being alone could drive someone insane.

forever_witch November 24 2008, 02:44:32 UTC
Mm, has it been that long?

Heh, did I offend you? <3

...Hm, I wonder, yes, that idea very well could drive them insane..interesting.
