I spent 20 straight hours (maybe 10 of those actually researching or working) to produce a term essay in a single day. I'm well aware of how rough and biased it is, but honestly, I've seen the competition and I'm sure I'll do better than half my tutorial group with this one.

Feh, I did an essay in six hours, to do fast research get a Gmail account, then Email yourself the full text's of documents which show up when you do a basic search on any of those meta-document search engines that most uni's subscribe to. Get about fifty, based mostly on the article titles.
Then put them all into a separate folder(label) and archive them so they're off the main page.
Now you can search through fifty articles for keywords, phrases and opinions without having to read fifty articles.
