Should I worry?

Ok, I met a guy at a wedding a few weeks ago and we have been talking on the phone fairly often. We have only had casual conversations and stuff, he has never talked about pursuing a relationship with me or anything, we just enjoy talking to each other. Well, the other night I thought he said "bye sweetie" when he said goodbye, but I figured he ( Read more... )

Well, if he's a nice guy don't let it bother you. Maybe it's a habit of his that he does when he starts to get close to people. I've got friends who do that. Or maybe he does have something for you. But even if, never rule out anything and say, "Oh, I'm not ready right now." 'Cause who knows, he might be put in place for you. I don't know...I just say, don't stress about it. Pray and let happen what will happen, you'll know when the time comes if it's what is to be or not to be. I guess? lol. My advice is so wishy-washy. lol. Prolly shouldn't listen to me. NO! Do...lol.

Whoa whoa Wendy. Some guys just call girls "sweetie" as a term of appreciation for them being a nice or sweet girl, but they don't necessarily always put a lot of thought into it. It really depends on how he's saying it to you I think. If he's all mushy when he says it, then yeah you can analyze it. But if he's just saying it as if he were saying "bye buddy", then you really shouldn't worry so much over it. Watch for other signs before you start thinking he likes you and worrying about confronting him because if you make assumptions too soon, you might mess something up that you really didn't want to. Make sense? That's just my view on the whole thing.

Bye sweetie ;) haha

Yeah, thats what I'm hoping it is. He says it like he's saying buddy or something. He just started doing that though. It's always good to get a guys perspective-thats why I decided to post ab it on my live journal. He is a very easy-going guy so I don't think he would freak out if I asked him about it. I just don't want to be in the dark about things. It is different with him calling me sweetie and you calling me sweetie because when a guy asks for your number its usually because he is interested in you. I know, I know, I should just relax and trust that God will work things out in His time.
