I need somewhere to put this. I have all of one friend, but I don't care. I came home from an amazing night out with amazing women to news that I've been holding onto for a couple of days but haven't done anything about

I think reaching out to someone in that time is a lovely thing to do. He may not respond, but the knowledge that you're not alone in a tough situation is a really powerful and comforting thing.

And I'm sorry that your parents' passing is so hard. Grief is a complicated, living thing, and it sounds like it doesn't get easier as time passes.

Thanks. It's odd how it hits me, and having this happen to someone that I know just makes it come to the forefront. A lot of that was the wine talking, but I guess I needed the vent.
