I knew this would happen...
I totally didn't mean for it to, either. Blink and a month goes by without so much as a glimpse at this journal. And there have been things that I've wanted to talk about, but just haven't had the time or inclination to do so. Well, I promised that I'd be better.
I am first and always a Clint/Natasha shipper, and no amount of anything will change my mind about this. I think the stuff in the new trailer is a Classic Marvel Misdirect. Make us look here at these completely innocent moments between Natasha and Bruce, while all along, Clint and Natasha is endgame. I've seen snippets of interviews where Joss Whedon has said that Hawkeye and Black Widow are basically the lynchpins in the whole story. And the fact that we've had very little of Hawkeye in the trailers suggests to me that they want to save how important his character is for the movie.
Who knows, though. I have my tickets for May 1st, so I guess we'll find out then.
