That reminds me of the new Teen Section in my library...I hate it. :( The one time I used a computer there, I was surrounded by "gangster" teenage boys blasting music out of their computers. I also hate the overly bright color scheme of the section.

Luckily, or unluckily, this is a comunla section, so anyone can use these computers.

It's kinda funny. You get to see a whole range of weird and wonderful people! Some you really wish you hadn't.

"Bit birds" means... sexy ladies... only it's not exactly a nice way to say it. Typically said by boys who have their pants around their ass and no sense!

I had an almost identical experience today. Except there was no mention of any "fit birds", and the brats were about 14. The librarian told them repeatedly to get the fuck off the computer 'cause they were being so goddamn loud and they basically laughed in her face going watchagonnadoaboutit. I was *this* fucking close to walking up to them and beating them up with a dictionary. I swear, if I ever get kids I'll teach them some fucking respect.

It's really bad when they do that, isn't it? Worst thing is, they only got louder and more aggressive after they were told to be quiet.

I think, kids these days, no matter what they're taught, are going to end up going with the pack mentality and act up in public like that. It's sad.

I don't mean to sound so old, being only eighteen myself, but children these days are so fucking obnoxious. High school kids pissed me off even when I was still in high school. Reminds me of a thread I saw in one of the Gaia forums, I think it was in Lifestyle Discussion, where another college student posted about how obnoxious high school kids are and one person posted something like, "Fuck you, we'll be as obnoxious as we want."

I think a lot of it has to do with how spoiled this generation is. Seriously, what happened to the days when parents used to beat their children for misconduct? These new laws about child discipline are bullshit. D: I don't mean to swear so much either, but baskawefef this generation makes me so angry sometimes.
