My computer is suddenly NOT remembering me when I sign in places! Soon as I close the window or the tab, it logs me out!

I am getting very, very aggravated by this. I am THIS CLOSE to putting my food through the machine. Seriously.

Try clearing your cookies and cache... Or saved passwords. Or if you're using Firefox, make sure it's updated? There was an old version that had that problem.

Tried both, and I'm using the lasted firefox so... *fails* I dunno! It's still doing it even after I cleared everything out!

Nope... not unchecked, and I cleaned everything out and... yeah... still doing the same damn thing. *ded*

See... it's only started happening in the last few hours, and I've not upgraded or changed anything. The only thing that's happened, was my computer did one of it's random shut downs. So...

I sadly can't download anything, as doing that shorts my computer and makes it switch off. I'm thinking I'm screwed.

It's not an issue with your computer, it's an issue with your personal information that's stored in a cookie file. I had this issue and all I had to do was delete a cookie folder and boom, it all worked again.

Since I'm on Vista and you're not, I'm gonna link to you how to do it in XP.

Make sure Firefox is closed
1. Open the start menu and "Run"

2. Put %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ in the run box.

3. Double-click on the profile folder.

4. Delete cookies.sqlite

Once you open Firefox you should be able to save passwords/logins again. Granted you have to re-enter your information, but that SHOULD work. It did for me.
