I finished reading "Tipping the Velvet" today and am now filled with that kind of emptiness that one gets after finishing a good book. What a shame. It was different from the movie but still really good. Next week I'll get the video from Astrid's mom (hopefully) and watch it ( Read more... )

I was begining to think I was the only one too! Besides Liz, anyway.

You should come with me to the Harry Potter party at Barnes and Nobles at Lyhnaveen...that midnight thing so you can get your book the SECOND it comes out. Bring Val or Sheila or something.

harry potter party? HAHAHAHAHA. that makes me laugh. so you seriously go there at like midnight so you can be the first ones to get it? that would suck because as much as i want to, i probably wouldn't be able to stay up late enough to read the book at a whole time. and then that would suck. because i would fall asleep and not have read the whole entire book.
besides, my mom gets them somewhere for like 10 bucks the day they come out so im not complaining.

That's sweet dude! Well I plan on sleeping the entirety of the 15th, waking up at like, 6 or 7, and then heading over there...I guess now with my mom since Liz isn't going with me anymore.

Then I'm reading the WHOLE day. No one is to disturb me...at all. I'm even turning my phone off. But alas I have to go to Shane's party (the free food did it for me) and then its back to reading. Sleep is non-existant.
