By five in the evening, Dawna was pacing. She wasn't really sure how she was going to make it through another hour and a half and she was quite sure she was driving everyone else in the house mad. Probably especially Edward, which would explain why he'd stalked off at least twice. Of course, her constant irritation and nagging wasn't helping.

He was ready, even though it was still a little while until they had to go, the hospital wasn't too far away and he was better in them than Henry was anyway. He yawned just a little, his hair uncharacteristically tied in a ribbon, pinned tightly away from his face, his shirt clean, his trousers actually ironed (though he obviously hadn't done it) - for the first time in a quite a while the boy looked like a gentleman.

She looked him over, a small smile playing over her lips. He cleaned up well. Not that that surprised her in any way, it was just a touch amusing to see him dressed up nice for something like this. Not that she wasn't dressed up nice herself. Maternity dress trousers and a nice top, which was about as dressed up as she got right now. "Is my hair a mess?" she asked, reaching up a hand to smooth it.

His eyebrow rose as the smile worked it's way across her lips but he simply shrugged. He COULD look nice if he wanted to, but he, more than more knew that appearances could be deceiving - he wasn't really the gentleman he looked, or at all really, he was a gentlemen in his own way however to his wife and children though he'd never admit it. He shook his head to her question; "No, it isn't," but he reached up to push a stray strand away.

"You look good, Edward, that's all I'm smiling about," she said, smiling a touch more when he brushed her hair aside. "Think we'll be too early if we leave now?" she asked. She kind of just wanted to get it over with.
