[ The industrial district: apparently not a good idea right now. And who can keep track of a stupid little recording device when being attacked by weird purple-eyed people? The Dreamberry falls, kicked off to the side, to show a flurry of unclear action--shouting, noises, running feet, the obvious signs of fighting despite the fact the view is

Hey! Back off, creepy bunch, these odds hardly seem fair. Don't leave now and I'll be forced to shoot.

Using the moment of distraction to slip away from the ones crowding him, Zuko knocks out a few more, making his way toward the stranger because it'll be easier to keep from accidentally catching one another in the line of fire if they're closer.]
What are these things? [Straight to business. Introductions can come later.]

Wish I could say, then I'd actually know if this was helping or not. Looks like it's doing enough right now.

Looks like. [a pause] Don't kill them. [he's still not sure if they're really people or not.]

He sends a small wave of fire at the person's feet, aiming to incapacitate but not kill.]

He doesn't have long to observe however as the figures attacking the other turn towards him. Altair only has a brief glimpse of the creatures before they are upon him, but that is enough. He quickly pulls out his short sword, using it to fend of the people as he moves towards where the other battles. There is after all safety in numbers.]

They are similar to the wraiths I encountered in my home world, but I do not believe they are the same. I am not sure what they are, only that they appear to have been men. [He would have continued, but the one he had knocked down was moving again, and had been joined by more.]
I do not believe our tactics are working. [instinct was telling him that something had happened that he was unaware of, but gave no clue as to the specifics.]

[He makes sure, sending a wave of fire at the legs of one of the groups.
Tactics? What tactics? His only strategy at the moment is 'don't get killed.']

A violent spark crackled from the tip of the antenna that rose from the stone of her tiara. Electrical sparkles emitted from her palms once clasped her hands together and pulling them apart to create mass energy of lightning formed into a ball. No soon after she winded her arm back before throwing it through the masses sending a pretty nasty electric shock through them.
"SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

Zuko skirted away quickly from the blast, even if it hadn't been aimed at him--getting hit by an electric attack once was more than enough, thanks--and moved toward her. It would be more efficient, after all, to fight closer to one another and not risk catching each other in attacks meant for the possessed... things.
"Hey!" Zuko called, and introductions could wait for later as he sent a large blast of fire at the legs of a few of the people, then maneuvered so he and the girl were about back-to-back. "Do you have any idea what these things are?"
