I beat it

Ahhh, such a good game! Thanks to umm, the countless people who recommended it to me. I loved every minute of it. I'll take a break now, but eventually I'll go back and play it again for the sidequests. I skipped most of those.

Oh, for those who have completed the game, Ann has a question! Or two. ( Spoilers for the end )

It's not exactly said what happened. D; Supposedly the thought running around is they merged together (because of the scene where Luke is holding Asch's body, you can clearly see his arm move despite supposedly being dead). And I like that theory, anyway. ;;

Annnnd if I'm not crazy, 3 years passed between the last battle and the epilogue.

That's what it seemed like. They seemed to have merged a little before the final battle with the whole second-order hyperresonance, and then fully later with the power of Lorelei. Hmm, I wonder if they fight over the body sometimes... Or maybe they have become one conscious entirely.

From info.abisu.net:

Yoshidzumi: After the victory from the last battle, Tear whispered “I love you” to Luke. We made this scene because we want to bring out the feelings that Tear has towards Luke, but at the end, it became a story of love between two people. For that reason, we even consider to have “Luke” being hugged by Tear at the Tataru Valley…etc. On the other hand, because that didn’t work out too well with the explaination we have for the ending, we abandoned it. Though this is how it’s said, it was the same in Symphonia, where it ends before we explain it. As for the real answer, it is up to the players to decide, what they have hoped and what they have wished that will happen after the ending, is the answer to the ending.

Basically, it's whomever you wanted it to be. XD

Wasn't it roughly 2 years? Cause it takes a year or so for the game to happen, and Luke's ceremony should be at age 20..

but I dunno, anyway, uh, PLAY THROUGH THE GAME AGAIN because of Peony. :[

Yeah, that makes sense. 2 or 3 years.

WILL DO. Aha, yes, there are a few sidequests with him, right? I don't get enough of him without them D:
