"I filed for unemployment. It kills me though, that I have to milk the government for money."

Don't ever think that. While you were working, you put money into your own fund. We all do our little part to keep that fund going just in the event that douche bags like your old employers remove people, and they need a little financial help.

If I wasn't so busy i'd say lets go to lunch so you can vent, but I only have night times on the weekend free. If you'd like to get some food or do anything else, don't hesitate to call.

Since I live in the same house, I guess you can count me in for that too most of the time.

Yeah, I looked into it already and the only thing that I can get is my job back. It'll just have too much tension to go back.

If you were an at will employee, then yeah there isn't shit you can do.

HOWEVER, if they try to give you shit about unemployment or give negative references, you have a mondo lawsuit on your hands.

As always with the wisest of words, Paul =) Im trying to not pigeon-hole myself into just computer stuff. I get calls for interviews for places where its only commission based sales. Its not that I cant do the job but its not steady income and Ive done sales...its no picnic.

Thanks again for the generosity. If I find a sweet gig in Texas I'll know who to call ~_^

"I'm Catholic so I prayed for God to take me in my sleep. Of course he doesn't listen to me when I ask for those kinds of things. It's really easy too, I just think he gets lazy sometimes."

why the willingness to die?

Why not? It's not being a coward and its not being selfish. If anything it would be a welcome relief from everything. I've worked hard all my life and went through a ton...not to mention a $250,000 school loan that I have looming over my head that I have to start paying next year. It's all overwhelming and I have nothing to turn to but my own skills...which is pretty much just a year of shitty IT work for $13.50 an hour and a Bachelors Degree that has gotten me nowhere.

I can go on, but I think you get the point. Yes yes, I know, its not the answer. But hey, its a nice fail-safe.

because you are living. life is a giant problem to be solved. its the most precious gift you have.

everyone has their problems and they are all relative in severity to themselves and themselves alone. no need to compare yours to mine or whoever.

willingly dieing to solve life problems is the most lazy way out of things.
