so i used to be vigorously opposed to voting. after the debacle in florida last year, i just felt that your vote doesn't really count; that if whoever is running for president knows the right people in the right places (i.e. bush's brother,jeb, being florida's governer) then, win or lose, they can still pull strings and wind up in office. not to ( Read more... )

verbally abusing yourself over this is just plain nonsense. just because you did not register to vote does not make you any less of a person. lets just hope that america is not as stupid as we think they are. how does that sound?

i was just bummed that i missed the deadline to register. i still don't believe in the voting system, but i figured i might as well register, if for no other reason than to vote on local issues. and i really don't have faith that america is smarter than i think. it wouldn't be 50/50 right now if it was.
