When I put the frames of my new glasses on my face, the world came into focus and for a second I was overwhelmed with all the sharp edges. For so long, everything was sheathed in gauze and now, it was like that gauze had been lifted to reveal this place of details and lines that I had forgotton about. I stared at my face, touching my imperfections
