in greek mythologoy, when pandora opened the box, all the evils flew out and she closed the lid just in time to trap hope in.

therefore, that means that hope is one of the evils.

it wasnt hope itself, it was the ability to see into the future. therefore, since that was trapped we had hope because we did not know what lay ahead of us.

so no hope was never an evil. sorry i just remember that.

i think anything can be evil if you use it the wrong way but hope is especially powerful. false hope is just devastating
