I cheated thrice. So is the Wheel of Time. AND The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. (Well, H2G2 is both the first book and the series, but I meant the series, so I intended to cheat.)

Your mention of researching Rastafari on Wikipedia (and any mention of it at all, by anyone, lately) reminded me of this, because I had to skim that article myself to understand half the terms used in it:
