I'm having a discussion here where my friend is claiming that nearly everyone pees in the shower.
Do you pee in the shower? Do most people you know pee in the shower?

(I do not pee in the shower, the person I'm talking to RYAN does. But I don't think people are gross who do.)

Edited again for accidental wink face.

I don't. Never have.

Chris doesn't either apparently. Just asked him. Said no.

Your friend is WRONG.

i wouldnt go as far as to say that most people do it every time that they shower and probably very few simply elect to pee in the shower over the toilet. That said, I would venture that most people have peed in the shower on numerous occasions.

also your friend is wrong, there really is nothing gross about it, and certainly even less than nothing gross about people that do. If peeing into a drain with a constant flow of water to wash it down is gross, then anyone who has ever peed in a urinal fits the bill.

I don't pee in the shower as a rule, but once I did. I had to pee so bad but someone was in the toilet bathroom (in my dorm we had a shower bathroom and a toilet bathroom) and I was in a rush so I had to take a shower and BAM. It was out of my control.

I remember being really surprised that alarms didn't go off and security didn't bust down the door. Peeing in the shower always seemed like such a bad idea to me before. Buuuut nothing happened. I was just sheepish.

huh, apparently this is a male phenomena.. i've actually had this conversation before with friends, and none of the females I asked fessed up- or actually do it, and all the males said something along the lines of 'well, sometimes i do.'

maybe it's the whole aim thing.

Actually, the person who first introduced me to the concept was female, and I was kind of dumbfounded to find out that it's something people do. I didn't think it was gross though, because I kind of worshipped the ground she walked on and thus if I had to stand on something someone had peed on, I would think it less gross if she had peed on it than anyone else.

She suggested squatting near the drain for ladies.

hahha, like japanese toilets. they're just like urinals lying on the ground.

and really, pee is pretty much made out of the same stuff as sweat, so i'm not terribly bothered by it. it's just never really occurred to me. but, like your friend said, if all the bathrooms were full, then why not..

i bet girls are just shy about admitting it then

you're not helping Tina.

The point is that people go barefoot in showers, but people don't stand in urinals. Also, pee comes from people's privates, which are often gross in their own ways. I would touch someone's sweaty arm. I would not touch their penis/girl part.
