wow...I'm kind of glad I never read that until now because I would have gone ballistic. You must admit though that I had a bit of righteous wrath. We all did and felt crazy shit that day and the days afterwards. *pours a pint for her friend* Let's just remember our lost friends and do what we know they would want us to do, evolve.
I really was a bitter asshat back then. Shortly after I had made that posting, I was informed that my father was in Virginia, and drove by the Pentagon 30 minutes before that 'chopper crashed into it... So, I humbled up in a big fucking hurry.

I just think that the reaction of the whole country, and the legnth of time that they dwell over it is amusing. Ok? The only thing that would make this insensative is if you never took the time to educate yourself about the whole situation. If you were to just forget it ever happend

SO TRUE! We all huddle around when there is a huge car crash and someone is being life flighted, we love tragedy. We are curious creatures, and there is nothing really wrong with that, its just, as you said, amusing.

I'm a prick too. My roommates woke me up (I was passed out) after the first plane hit. I was like 'wtf' when they told me. So we turned on the news, I saw the 2nd one hit....
and I laughed..
then proceeded to organize a strategy game (like risk) on a map of the middle east....yeah. It was a fucked up day.
