i don't know why i'm up. I was reading about identity development for about an hour and i got bored.. so i decided to pick up my guitar and play. Somehow i ended up playing it for a few hours! I really miss playing like this. Its unfortunate that i don't have a piano to play.

Yesterday I read a book called "As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised As a Girl" It talked a lot about gender identity and whether it is learned or innate. I think it was mostly interesting to me though because the main subject was an identical twin. The doctor botched his circumcision when he was a baby and he basically lost his whole penis, so his parents had him castrated and raised him as a girl! It was a pretty intense story.
