We both know (and relate to) how he's feeling right now. He's going to go and nothing anyone says will stop him. Even if it turns out completely shitty the only thing he'd regret more is not going. Plus if things don't work out how he hopes he might just end up liking it there. Remember, me moving to SF was supposed to be temporary. Anyway, my point is, you can give all the well-meant good advice you want, but the only result you'll get is the possibility to say "I told you so." Either way, he will learn from the experience.

im going to say one last thing, and then im done:
austin is the LEAST self-centered person i have ever met. he is one of the best friends i've ever had, and i couldnt ask for more in a boyfriend. i know you dont care, and you'll stick to your guns. but oh well, i said my piece.

thank you lexi for being a voice of reason in all of this. i love how everyone is having a picnic with my life choice. if you really have any problems with me, talk to me in person. i dont need you blabbing all this shit around. this is my life guys. if you really want me to be unhappy, keep saying all this shit. im happy with sarah and the choice ive made. if you have any problems about me and sarah, leave them to yourselves. if you have a problem with me personally, then just let me know. reid and denis, stay the fuck out of my life. if you can't be happy for me getting my chance to leave this wasteland you guys left long ago for whatever little dreams you had, then i dont need you guys as friends. this is my choice. this isn't just about sarah. i love her and having her sealed the deal, but you all knew i was ready to get out and see the world ( ... )

I can say whatever i want, i dislike this whole situation, and i chose to voice it. i don't have to pretend to like Sarah anymore so im not going too. I just hope Austin that you take this as a learning experience to pay attention to you friends not just a girl. You had no life when you were with Diana, you risked losing friends over her by having no life other than her, and now you are certainly losing friends over this girl. With future friends remember what friendships means; its not abandonment and ego-centric mentalities.

but i am done, enjoy your life.
