The other day I was at the Canadian National Exhibition. They have a farm pavilion. I just felt sick, when I saw people standing around going "look at the cute cows" or "look how sweet those piglets are" while a sign above their pens said "Ontario Beef" and "Ontario Bacon." It really upset me that the people in the pavilion could look at these animals as adorable, but the next day have them on their plate.

I so know how you feel. People always make me feel like I am the weird and wrong one. Like because eating the flesh of something living like a zombie is so normal. I have heard it all! "If we weren't made to eat meat why do we have these teeth?" Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should! At this day and age people can live without meat and animal by products to survive and looking around at the world they would be much healthier too.
