Snag one, kill it, cook it, and eat that sucker. Don't leave any evidence, and if he complains just say a stray dog or coyote (there are a ton of them all over WV) must have gotten it. Don't shoot it with a gun, as that will make too much noise. Either drop it with a high powered pellet gun to the head or trap it.

Let me know how $300 chicken tastes.
