He could hear it up in his room.

"Well, if it ain't the lying ass of a girly cat-boy!" Pete grinned, and the crossbow bolt wobbled. "I'm getting outta here!"

"Dang. I was looking forward to making your life miserable."

"Oh, I'm sure a guy like you is used to disappointment."

Weiss came into the room. "Heading home for the holidays?"

"Home forever!" Pete grinned, the crossbow bolt wobbling with every word. "I just got expelled!"

"Dude. What'd you do to get expelled?" Weiss asked. He glanced at the arrow. "Never mind. Don't want to know."

"Apparently, duelin' is against the rules."

Walter wandered by and stopped, doubletaking at the very welcome sight of an arrow in Pete's head.

"Well, if it ain't the nancy-boy. I look forward to never having to see you again!"

"You're leaving?" Yes, Walter looked pleased.
