I MISS BRISBANE
Well that was on hell of a weekend.
I just came back from my weekend in Sydney for Sydney Supanova...
It wasn't the best of weekends.
Early flight in, expensive cab ride to the motel that was nowhere near where we were told it was, Jess was ill the first night and had to leave... and then she lost her wallet.
Which was disastrous because all our collective money was in her bank account.
So uh... we spent Saturday scaring the locals (Unlike Brisbane whoch has strong and varied subcultures ala goth, steampunk, etc Sydney is rather... uptight. ) with Emma and Myself in gothy steampunk and Jess as Kadaj. Literally scaring. Yeesh. And trying to get her to her bank... which was closed... and then to a family friend for moneys.
So no Saturday nova..
Then Sunday... we're late to the con, broke and on edge. Jess is tired and cant do the things she wants, Im annoyed about being late, getting left out of Emma and Jess's fangirlys and other things and so there was snappage and a fight where I broke down and cried on the shoulder of an utter angel.
But then... a light at the end of the tunnel. I caught up with Jack, the angel known as Hayley bought me lunch and a shiny cameo necklace, and I found something I have been looking for for... Years. And Im going to get more. Since the later who sold them to me is returning to Japan and offered to find me some more.

Which we had enough to buy.

So anyway, long rambling short, the weekend was mostly crap sprinkled with some great moments and a lot of photos and gawking at Sydney architecture. When I say the Queen Victoria Building I literally cried. It was so beautiful.
It was... well.. brutal and I'm tired wrecked, I need a holiday from my holiday and...
Yeah. Missed you guys. Ima need sometime to catch up. ^^
