That's very good and I agree but for some people (like me for instance) if it's not in writing with a start and finish date, it doesn't get done. I'm in business and it's always said, over and over, "if you don't out your goals in writing they aren't goals". The other one is "plan your work and work your plan."
I think he's saying 'change the pattern', not 'stop setting goals'. at the end of the article he contrasted 'worrying' with 'creating steps to succeed in your goals'. Alot of what NLP is about is rewiring your brain to stop hurting yourself and others.
