that story made me want to watch the movie Ever After again because they do such a cute little character sketch of Di Vinci. (compared to the dark and boring sodomite Dan Brown's book makes him out to be.)

Interesting. If you look at the Da Vinci Code(cough-lies-cough), the book literally translates "Of Vinci Code". Dan Brown names the book as thought Da Vinci was his last name and shows himself, yet again, to show his ignorance of historical fact.

One thing. I was just wondering why you identify yourself as "messianic jew" rather than christian since couldnt messianic jew refer to any claimed messiah(and there were many claiming to be that)?

now let's put it into context:

Act 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Now when was the last time you heard in church that these laws were the path intended for the Gentiles to follow to become complete in Messiah ( ... )

Wow. Thanks. I had forgotten about that passage in Acts. But lets also remember the Book of Galatians(specifically 3:6-25) and Romans 4. I look at it as this; If someone chooses(key word) to follow the law, great but should not be required to(which is stated many many times in the NT...very specifically in Gal 3:25).

But you bring up an interesting point. I think Christianity today did kind of for get "where it came from" in regards to Judaism(not the Judaism of today but OT Judaism). We forget that Jesus was a Jew BUT he opened salvation to all.

Since you talk with Jews more often than I do(although I have had cordial debates with them), how to they atone for sin since there temple is gone and with it, the only way they could even attempt to atone for sins. We(Christians/mess. Jews) rely on Christ's blood to wash us but what do they rely on?

Other than orthodox Judaism(which I believe is the minority of Jews), the judaism of today appears quite different than OT Judaism
