This was beautiful. I am so glad they found each other again. The ideal reunion between first love.

I can't resist happy endings. They're the best kind of endings tbh. Thanks for reading!

It's a little late and somehow I feel I little misty and I was crying a bit before so I hope you don't mind that this is going to be a poem.

You forgot to press
The send button; I
Spent years alone in
Front of that stark screen

Gold sun sets on pain;
Cold hands, broken heart.
Three beers later your
Voice spills out secrets

Knees touch; skin warm on
Skin, every sunrise
A promise. Your hand
In mine forever

I really loved the story, the way the setting and characters were so real and breathed. Thank you so much for writing this

JOONMYUNNIEEEEEEEEEEEE
cute kid jonginnie just wanting to play with his hyung ♥ adorables
ahhhh my heart hurt so with how coldly he left ;;;;
omg this storm scene is literally perfect, jm falling in love with jongin's smile and jongin kissing his hyung T___T
hahaha the last birthday email is so cute and joonmyun replying to every single one before like jesus

Joonmyun had known all those years ago, when Jongin kissed him for the first time, that he tasted of forever.
ahhhhhhhhhh sukai ♥♥♥ thank you so much for this!

To be honest, I'm not a huge Sukai shipper. Just not a pairing that's ever struck my fancy. But i clicked on this fic impulsively when a friend linked it on Twitter and wow, i do not regret it. Your simple, poignant storytelling was so satisfying, somehow, and every word was so heartwrenching. I'm generally easily moved, but i haven't felt so emotional over such a comparatively short fic in a really long time. You managed to tell a full, complete, engaging story, with more depth than i could have hoped for, in so few words, and that's so commendable. Well done /slow clap

I usually roll my eyes at the whole "i thought it'd be best to just cut ties" cliche, but you have reasons here, real, human reasons, and i really appreciated that. The tiny part about Joonmyun's dad was so important. It also gutted me completely, haha.

I seriously, really enjoyed this. Bravo! My only regret is reading it while eating breakfast, thus distracting me from the full beauty of this piece ;)

Hi Becca! It's Adele. Thank you so much for leaving me this wonderful comment. It made a huge difference because I felt like no one was reading or liking this fic and I was feeling all kinds of shitty when your comment came in and just thank you ;;;; it made me believe in this fic again

I'm weeping at the beauty of this. ;-; That kind of love, the kind that endures through the years and burns without fail, is the best love and wow you wrote it to perfection. I adore Jongin's tenacity and the way he refuses to give up even if it seems impossible. And reading Joonmyun's part was simply heartbreaking. It makes their happy ending all the sweeter. ^_^ Ugh, this is definitely going in my faves.
