Uh uh uh. Fangirls will not stand for this! At the VMA'S, Russel Brand found it fitting to interrupt Robert Pattinson's announcement of Paramore's performance. What do the fans think about this?
They're engraged (to say the least).
Typical reactions vary to  "Geez! I just wanted to smack Russel Brand around!" and of course the "who here wants to kill

For some reason, I was actually watching the VMAs, and when Russell Brand interrupted RPattz, I was all, "HOSHIT!! Twilight fandom is going to *flip*."

And they did. And it was awesome. (My room-mate and I watched that clip of the VMAs many times, and laughed like hyenas each time. Poor stupid MTV, asking for comments...but I certainly enjoyed them!) And I waited happily for it to be posted in this community. And I was not disappointed.

Truthfully, I found it amusing when it happened. It was always funny to me, and the reaction always pretty ridiculous.

edit: MICHELLE! How much do I love that you posted this. Sorry. I was on my Twilight filter and not even paying attention to what I was reading.
