_i watched that episode of judging amy. the only thing they fucked up is that they made all the sXe kids vegan, but whatever. i wish i was vegan, so it's all good.
_not really. i mean in a way it is, but being vegan was never actually part of the movement, it was just very closely related and a lot of people who were straight edge were also vegan (talking about the beginning of the movement).
I'm more or less talking about the modern interpretation, because that's the one that applies to now. and now, it is no drugs, no sex, no alcohol, no meat.
Why would they waste a show in straight edge. It's so stupid. Labels are the most retarded thing ever. Bottom line. But hey, that's just me, I like to think i'm more then one categorization.
_being categorized really isn't all that bad, as long as people keep an open mind. but people don't keep open minds, so that's where the real problem is.
for example: Suzie is extremely nice, but underneath the nice polite coat, she has it in her to be a complete and total bitch. She wakes up on Wednedsay morning and decides she is sick of all of the pressure that the world puts upon her, so she becomes suzie the super bitch.
Categories are pointless if they are going to be changing so often. Why put Suzie in the prep category, when just like everyone else, she has it in her to change, and to be anything she wants to be at any moderation she wants?
I've read about some really extreme sXe clans that require you to be Vegan, and what not. I read one instance they beat someone half to death for drinking a Pepsi. But eff that, cigarettes have been proven time and time again that they INFACT! make you cooler. Oh man, and if you drink wine too, your also classy. Classy and cool. Too superlatives(I think I spelt this right) that always rock. I wish a teacher would put those down in those comment boxes on report cards.

That's media though, wasting millions of dollars on shows about categorizing people.
I really think everyone is more than one categorization, but unfortunately, some people limit themselves to portray themselves as a category.
