I thought "posi" was about being happy or some bullshit. If that still stands then hahahahahaha. That is the most retarded thing i've ever heard. Actually, all of it's retarded. Labels are lame. Violence is lame. Trying to be raaaah xtuffx is lame. Omg I can't even stand it. Too much lameness for one comment.

talking has done a whole lot to change me.
words have more of an impact for a lot of people than sticks and stones and madballs.
I honestly think violence is just retarded. It's a mental thing that causes someone to do something, wh make it fucking physical.

lets take a quote from mikey d:
"posi is just a type of hardcore. the kids who listen to it are called posi kids. they dont dance like pricks, they are all about fun at shows. they may or may not fight. its just a buncha kids that like 80's and 90's hardcore with positive messages."

and its not the posi kids who necessarily "think that violence is the only way to prove to other people that drinking, smoking, doing drugs and eating meat is wrong." The people who are like that, are the "miliant straight edge" kids who don't realize there's other ways to preach/encourage their beliefs on others nonviolently.

It's the sxe posi crowd that does all the beatings and shit. I know that.
And hey, what are stereotypes but labels for people who allow or don't allow themselves to be labeled.
There will always be exceptions. Just because someone is sxe and posi doesn't mean that they necessarily kick the ass of anyone holding a Bud light. But it does mean that they have allowed themselves to be associated with people who DO do that stupidass shit, even if just by an image. So therefore, all posi sxe kids are evil and I am a saint......clearly.

I still don't think you're right.
It's the sxe posi crowd that does all the beatings and shit.
no. its not. I know quite a handful of kids who are sxe/posi who have friends who aren't edge and drink and whatnot. like I said before. militant straight edge kids, hate-edgers. they're more of the ones you'll find kicking kids asses who have alcohol in hand. and they're fucked.

But it does mean that they have allowed themselves to be associated with people who DO do that stupidass shit, even if just by an image.
now, lets think about this. hypothetically, I'm straight edge and posi. is it my fault that they're are kids who are poorly repping the label I fall under? should I go out and change or modify my label and start fucking anyone I meet, and drinking, because other people have give my name a bad rep? no. of course not. its not my fault that other kids are gay and enjoy violence, that doesn't mean I do.

you are basing nearly everything you say on sheer cliches rather than actual facts and evidence.

you're a girl.
this whole stereotyping of sxe/posi beatups does not apply to girls.
Even so, limiting yourself to a generic title is accepting that you are who you hang with, and you are who you listen to.
To get out of this limitation, you merely have to say "Fuck you." or "hey listen, this is what I am....and this is what I am not..." to anyone who calls you "sXe" or "hardcore" or "posi".
