There are always bad/sad parts to any job.  It's just unfortunate that, in the midst of all the transition and turmoil, I had to make this my first judgment call.  I'm the superintendent now, it was my decision, and I had him put to sleep.  He was really sick, and had been for several days.  He wasn't getting better, and the blood work came back
