When speaking about abortion it is important to realize that a child is going to loose it's life and not spend it here, but the woman and all those linked to the abortion are going to loose their souls for eternity.

well ...if the woman who had the abortion and the people linked to the abortion ask for forgiveness from God and accept Christ as their savior, then they won't lost their souls but instead will spend eternity with God

...if they repent

Considering I don't believe that there is a god and that all of those I know who have had an abortion made a mature, responsible decision and are not feeling sorry because they knew it was a right thing to do ... there's no reason for them to repent.

thank you for your opinion. i respect your opinion and your right to voice your opinion, yet i disagree with you. the termination of a life without that person's consent, in my mind, is wrong. I believe that all life is valuable, and I believe that life begins at conception. I will never be able to understand how the baby is a life when it is outside the womb but when it is inside the womb, separated from the world by a small amount of skin, it is not life.

but that's my opinion. thanks for sharing yours!

Your welcome. I do respect your opinion fully. There is only one thing I do not and will not respect: this is your opinion. You cannot force your moral code on the rest of the women, you have no right to. And by fighting against abortions you are doing exactly that.

And no one ever said that it is not 'alive' inside the womb. However, it is physically fully dependent on another person. And I am in charge in my whole body and everything in it, including the fetus. I will decide whether I will let it reside inside or not, because it is inhabiting my body. A baby (and it is a baby after it is outside the womb - when it is inside it is embryo and then fetus, these are correct medical terms, not a propaganda) has the right to be treated as a human because it is physically independent.

Thanks for sharing your opinion without bitching. Really.

thats a gloomy post :(

Just wanted to comment on this lj cause you may be getting tired of seeing me on the other one. Can I ask you something though, Ive never read anything in the Bible that opposes abortion, and I've heard that they were common even back then. When Jesus came, why didnt he speak out against that if he it was somthing he opposed whole heartedly? I know he spoke out against adultery, and yet ppl do that more and more. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS WORLD????!!!(Sorry, but seriously, give me your perspective on this)

Thou shall not kill, was one of the 10 commandments. The bible says that we must protect the defenseless.

The women who had an aborti are the kindest, sweetest people with the more wonderful souls I've ever known. Don't you dare to speak like that about them.

Thou shall not kill, was one of the 10 commandments.

That is if you believe in the bible. When will you learn that not everyone has the same beliefs as you do? When will you learn to respect them?

I never said EVERYONE has to believe the bible. I was asked my opinion and I gave it. Don't turn my opinion around to make it into an insult please.

It is insulting for me when you speak like this about people I love the most on this earth. Period.

I said the killing of an innocent is murder. Take it as whatever you'd like, but I stand firm that murder is wrong.
