[Neliel can be found in the Battle Dome early today, preparing a new battle simulation. She's pretty involved in it so it would seems like it would be pretty easy to sneak up on her, but if anyone gets too close she'll turn her head pretty quickly ( Read more... )

Well, it's odd. It pains me a little to give in to those impulses, but at the same time, every blow I gave to him made me feel... just a bit better about what he did to me. Even if it wasn't really him.

[Luffy decides to be a watcher for now and he'll be observing her battle with that... guy he has no idea who that is. He assumes it's some kind of evil Skullface guy from their world, but from the way she's attacking him it seems almost as if she has some kinda vendetta against him hmmm. Well he'll just be over here watching you from the safety of the viewing area place! o/]

[Nel doesn't even seem to realize she has an audience, she's so focused on her enemy. She doesn't let up on him for even a moment, kicking and even headbutting him when her swords tied up with his... whatever the heck that thing is.

The really fun part comes when she leaps back to give herself some space, though. As he starts to charge at her, she opens her mouth wide and fires a friggin laser beam right into his face, which explodes.]

[Gin is just taking a walk around the battle dome, close enough for his reiatsu to be sensed if one is keen enough, but far enough to only observe. It's no secret that Neliel and certain other Arrancar haven't exactly gotten along, but it's interesting to see her actually becoming emotional while not a tiny little brat.

[It's not until her duel with Nnoitra is almost concluded that she seems to finally realize he's near. She doesn't turn to look at him, though, because in a fight like the one she's in, you really don't want to leave yourself open.

When she steps out of the battlefield into the lobby, she looks completely wiped out, but also somehow relaxed, as if she just purged herself of something foul. She inclines her head to him.]

She seems oddly at ease, whether he's there or not. Perhaps because she's tired, perhaps because his presence doesn't bother her. It only makes her that much more interesting.]

Nah, just came t'watch. Pretty nifty device they got here though. You come here often? S'pose there's a few people I wouldn't mind knockin' around either.

[OOC: No worries, no worries! I've been... rather abysmally slow on tags in this thread anyway.]

[Nel just can't wrap her head around the idea of Gin (or Tousen, or Aizen) as an enemy. They're her leaders, and she'd give her life for any of them. Nnoitra only became an enemy after he started messing with the careful order they'd built up.

If she knew Gin's real objectives... she'd have absolutely no idea how to deal with that.]

This is the first time, actually... I didn't really understand how it worked until recently, and I had... some old stress to work off.
