Hime, it's Nel. I'm just checking to see how you've been adjusting to Luceti. Did the experiment cause you any problems?

[Public]This might be kind of an odd question, but if anyone cares to answer I'd like to hear it ( Read more... )

[[Nel gets a surprise hug! ]]

What were you asking about, dear?

Ah, Val. A friend of mine from home came here a few weeks ago, and that got me thinking of things back there.

... Who was in charge back home for you?

Did she now? Well, I'd like to meet her, if I can?

As for... in charge. I did answer directly to my father, but, above him, there was Zemus... a Lunarian, I believe. I never met him myself.

I'm sure you'll have a chance. Just don't flirt with her, all right?

Your father... what sort of leader was he?

The Jade Emperor. He's a lazy windbag.

He doesn't sound all that useful.

[Nataku snorts.] If he did something useful I think I'd die of shock.

Why are you asking, anyway?

I was reminded of our leader back home recently. I wanted to know if anyone else had one like him.

Authority?

[A beat.]

That's an easy one! My Master's the one in charge back home, but I was never against him. He's always looked out for me and my friends, and he's a great teacher, too.

What exactly is he in charge of?

Well, he's a Keyblade Master, so he mostly teaches us how to use our Keyblades, about all the different worlds and how to protect 'em, and a bunch of stuff about light and darkness.

But he also protects our world. It's small, and it's right between light and darkness. If the wrong people found out about it, it'd screw up the balance.

So he's a powerful warrior too. Just like my leader.

What is a keyblade, exactly?

So the princess is the king's daughter, correct? How did she escape when this Ganondorf took over?

[Because if Aizen had done it nobody would have escaped.]

They were lucky. I can't imagine what an usurper would do if he caught the next in line.

Well, in my world, the King and the Pope are the highest authorities and equal in status. I am a Bishop so the Pope is my highest authority.

However... due to recent events... I don't know if I can trust in him anymore.

[Now this is the sort of answer she's been looking for.]

I see. What did he do to betray your trust, if you don't mind me asking?

In his lust for more power, he did a very bad thing and betrayed us all.

I can understand yearning for power... Back home I was surrounded by people like that. But there are limits to what's acceptable.
