[She understands... well, actually she doesn't, on account of not really having a father, but she's going to do her best to help Val through this anyway. After she's sent off her message and talked to anyone who's responded, she heads straight up to their room to check on her... and those sobs don't sound any better than when she first got the news.

Val? It's me... [She steps inside hesitantly.] Do you... need anything?

[[Upon knocking, the door creaks open, prompting the sobbing to die down a bit. On the bed is, expectedly, a pile of blonde hair, and not in it's best condition.]]

Come here... [Sitting down, she holds out her arms for Val.] My shoulder's probably a little drier than that pillow by now.
