Actually, it kind of works for me, too. HMM. I might have to add that to my list of things to eventually write.
I can't believe it, either -- Cartman Finds Love made me laugh, but then I was sad about the whole thing as soon as it was over, because I knew the fandom would declare this the start of the Cartman/Kyle era, etc etc. I hope this is all part of a character development thing (like, that they have some kind of plan for how the friendships are changing), but I suspect it's just more of them finding Cartman and Kyle hilarious as enemies, which I've never really found all that hilarious.
I think it was a great episode but yeah I just knew the Cartman/Kyle peeps were gonna go crazy (I've actually always sorta liked them together myself, but it's just like TOO MUCH this season and meanwhile Stan and Kyle like hate eachother still and wtf it's like crazy bizzaro world). I try not to let it bother me though cus' I know that if it were Stan declaring love on the jumbo-tron I'd be losing my shit and calling it canon, too, even though it still isn't.

Yeah, me too, to be honest -- even if it's not ~canon~ they have a reason to be excited that their guys did something that they found cute, so I'm jealous! At least Stan and Kyle cuddled in the poo helicopter, and Stan's concern for Kyle during the whole misadventure was sweet. I think Kyle hasn't forgiven Stan yet -- but M & T probably aren't giving it that much thought, wah.
I sometimes like Cartman/Kyle, too -- I've been loving the fan art this season has produced. But there's something depressing about the idea that they would actually end up together, to me.

Also I saw the one where Stan's all hunched over on Tumblr, and all I could say was, "Is Stan pregnant?"
Because look.
