Ooh this is interesting, I definitely can see some ideas you used in others fics, like Stan and Kenny working together in a pest control business, or Kyle being away from SP with a boyfriend.
I actually want to know the end of this now haha

Thanks! I think the end was just like, Stan and Kyle run into each other and reconnect on a sex level, lol, so I guess I eventually kind of wrote this story, last year for the Secret Santa - that 'Boxing Day' one!

Great as usual. :) I like Stan and Kenny's relationship here, the mix of exasperation and affection, and how they cling together because everyone else is GONE. Also, very much enjoyed the detail about Cartman being in his profession and location so he can continue to irritate Kyle. Real Kyman would be pretty difficult to do right, IMO, but I pretty much canon-ship one-sided Kyman.

Thanks! Real Kyman is really hard to do right - I can only accept it as a dysfunctional relationship that eventually ends (though I don't have a problem imagining that they could enjoy aspects of it for a while) -- but yeah, I mostly just really love the idea of Cartman pining for Kyle all his life and never becoming a good enough person to actually earn him ;__;
